Nice to see someone who understands the game! :mrgreen: I played for years and had to quit due to school, but I've been lucky enough to travel the nation shooting PSP events as well as regional events.

Wow these are really good. I don't know much about paintball but as a sports photog. you really captured some great action shots.

HOW did you get on the circuit to shoot!? when NPPL came to KC they flipped when people even had point and shoots! Congrats dude, catch any breaking balls to the face?

Either someone has a ridiculous rate of fire, or someone forgot to shut their paintball holder (don't know the correct terminology for that).

HOW did you get on the circuit to shoot!? when NPPL came to KC they flipped when people even had point and shoots! Congrats dude, catch any breaking balls to the face?

I lucked up and met some people who really liked my work. I was truly lucky in that aspect. When it comes to the breaking balls, you put yourself in a dilemma. You can shoot at a typically high Shutter speed and get a spray, or you can slow it down and get a good "gooey" break. I try hard to get some liquidy/gooey shots, but end up with more spray then anything lol

You can shoot at a typically high Shutter speed and get a spray, or you can slow it down and get a good "gooey" break. ever worry about your equipment? doesnt look like you had a shield (sled lol) We played D3 NPPL and Photographers always gave away my posit. in the snake. Anyone ever just shoot at you haha?

I've yet to explore paintball photography, when I find some free time I'm going to see if I can convince my local field to let me take some shots.

Not really. After playing for so long, a decent field awareness will keep the equipment safe. As for the position, this is something the PSP refs (especially PRO) will jump on you. If the player isn't in a confirmed location, we aren't supposed to point the lens in their general direction. As for getting shot, YES! The professionals and D5 guys are the worst. I come home covered in paint, more so then when I actually played. haha

HAHA! well if the circuit ever swings back through the midwest, which they wont because it was a bust, ill have to look for you! Very impressive photos man!!
