I like the composition of the first one, but the flat-lighting and lack of "epic clouds" leaves me wanting more. Is this local? Could you go back and shoot this at sunset or sunrise?

Hi OP-

I do enjoy the last image and the conversion. I think most old things look better in B&W! I think the first image is a beautiful composition, but it's lacking that "wow factor." I'd really like to maybe see it at sunrise/set or maybe when it's had a little bit of snow? I think that would help the dynamic range some as well. Otherwise, nice shots!
