Yeah, sort of a shame on the fence. I'm glad the little tumbleweed was there. It gave me something to work with. The otherside wasn't an option. I could have easily gotten through it, but then the sunrise would have been out of whack. It's State of California property, not that trespassing bugs me that much, but out of the thousands and thousands of square miles that poppies used to grow wild and continuous, this 10 or so square miles is all that is left after a 100+ straight years of development. I'll let someone else screw it up- and someone else will.

I'm not a friend of barbed wire, but the posts do create a nice visual in #1. The saturation is a bit rich for me.

Really diggin' #3 though.

Undecided on #2 at this point. Will revisit later.

The saturation does that to me too. I should wait a day or two before I post. Never tried blending before. Thought I should make it ~worth it~. I'm hoping to learn some tricks next weekend. Got a thing going.

#2 might be my last hdr. Ever.

I'm liking #3 despite the realism. I wish I would wrote down the stuff I did to get the rolling hills, rolling.

I like #1. I think the fence adds to the shot.

in #1 and #2 the slightly tilted horizon bothers me a bit. even if it is not tilted, and the landscape just is that way, it still is a bit disturbing to me.

But judging by the fence poles, it is tilted. Anyway, I agree with danir that the fence actually adds to the shot. gives it some feeling of depth!

#3 gives me instant calmness.

I think the blending in #1 has left the ground looking flat but with blobs of colour in the form of the flowers...they seem to provide contrast but with little detail....#2 I like the dynamic range in terms of colour and light but there are noticeable halos around the post and the hills and again the flower buds seem lacking in detail....I'm assuming it might have been windy! The last shot appeals the most with good colour and contrast....I also like the comp. The enviroment is beautiful.

I like #1 and #3 the fence in #1 really draws you into the pic and just goes on forever, I like it. #3 is just great! makes you feel like drawing a large lung full of air in but it just wouldn't be the same sitting infront of my pc. Good work!
