What's new

3 shots CC please

I really enjoyed the first picture. I especially liked the branch ( I think it's a branch) floating, is looks very clear and sharp. I don't think the second has a clear enough main subject. Third one could be straightened and it took me a minute to figure out what it was.

Number one is AWESOME! I could see that hanging on my wall.

I like #1. I wonder if it will look better without the jet trail. I bet #1 will look awesome B&W as well.

#1 needs to be cropped to make a great shot. You need to take some off the bottom!!
The other 2 don't do much for me.

I agree about number 2! Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Thanks for the compliment TMB!

Yeah -- I dig #1 as well -- the colors are vivid. I also agree that it may even look tighter with part of the bottom cropped...you have a nice row of old pier supports leading into the water nicely. Overall , very nice!

Awesome feedback! Here's 2 edits of the first one from critique I've received.

First the crop

Here's black and white with crop

the black and white really seems to nicely define objects in the foreground from some of the chaos in the background.

the black and white is awesome

I like #1.. but I think it would be a better shot without the broken pilings breaking up the reflection, they are distracting from the beauty of the shot, as is the foreground. A tighter crop ro get rid of some the foreground would be nice also.

#2.. nice.. I would darken it a touch... and increase contrast a bit! Beautiful area!

#3 sharp.. but just doesn't do it for me. The background is way too busy!

Try cloning out the jet trails...

B&W and no jet trail is the clear winner here.
