'31 Ford Radiator Cap, Emblem, Grill, and Hood

The colors reflecting in the chrome are nice, but I really want to see more of the car.
Even a straight frontal shot showing more of the grill would be a bit more engaging.

Me too, only there wasn't enough space between all the parked '31's to get a decent head on shot...poles, curbs, all kinds of crapola in the way including gobs of lookie loos. I managed about three 1/2 way decent shots and that was it. This is the same car the Two Grand Old Ladies was shot from. To the right is an old time hitching post painted garishly orange and to the left a ratty old '31 Coupe which didn't deserve a shot. it was just horrid...I want to go to a car show and be the only person shooting for at least an hour before they let the hordes in...oh yeah, and that's going to happen...Thanks for the comment. I appreciate your opinions.

May I suggest that you get some of your best car photos together and talk to the promoter. If you can prove to him that you can take good pictures, and make a good case for yourself to be allowed some elbow room, he might just arrange it for you. There's nothing like a bit of well-placed salesmanship.

Then when you do get some time with the cars, make a few 5x7 prints as samples and sell yourself to the owners of the cars. If you do it right, you can sell lots of big prints to proud owners.

Listen to Designer as he is on to something! These guys spend a lot of money on their cars...... If you Madrid a nice large canvas print to display you could have a business with this.... These guys will buy!

i already do this with my Mini groups but in this case I just happened upon this show..lots of really great old Fords there.
