The lens will mount safely but will not "couple" with the meter. Use a hand held meter or "sunny 16." And there's always the histogram. If you're like me you'll find if you guess it will be underexposed by a stop or two. Experiment and don't use for anything critical until you've become used to it. By all means use it and have fun. I love old manual focus glass and have more of it than AF stuff. AF has it's place but MF forces me to "see" what's in the viewfinder so I tend to get better photos with it.

Well only had a few minutes with it, still learning how to use it. Takes more footwork lol. It's fun !! I'm sure the quality will be nice.
