im not sure if I can compare the 2 since the 500D is closer due to the 1.6X crop and it has more megapixel. OH well.. I like the 5D better LOL. I am sure it looks a lot better if I come closer to get similar frame.

Those magazine specs sound a lot more like a 50D instead of a 5D.

I want to get a 5D II now lol...

I made up my mind a while back to just hold out for the 5D III (or whatever it is called), and I hope that I will have the patience to do so.

Bump up the Iso to like 1600-3200+ and you should notice a bigger difference.
