TPF Noob!
Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. Moved down to South Carolina, from Western New York five years ago. Am a retired truck driver and was looking for another hobby, to keep myself occupied. I played around a little with a 35mm camera, when I was in Vietnam. The price of the new SLR's, were out of the question for me. I remembered how I really liked the long gone 35mm SLR I had. Started browsing Ebay and saw how affordable the "Vintage" cameras were. Well I found a professionally refurbised Canon A-1. Then I bought all the trimmings, to go with it. The only thing I'm gonna probably need, is a Diopter lens. I was hoping not to have to wear my reading glasses, but guess I'll come to that hurdle when I have camera in hand. I joined this forum, with hopes to learn from your knowledge. Well I've rambled enough, just hope ya'll don't mind another novice asking questions.
