Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Here is my attempt to show gluttony for my class project. This is the first time i've used multiple images in a layout. Thoughts? Iknow the border isnt intriguing, but i was trying to outline and help separate the images in a simple, non-distracting way. Please lemme know your thoughts on the setup, as well as the images themselves.

i am loving the concept :thumbup:but yeah the border's looking not so great ....have you tried just a single black border instead of outer black and inner gray?? i think that might look good

I'd prefer it a lot more if the photos were the same size, they seem a little dark as well.

I agree with just using the black border.

Thanks! I'll try that

They arent underexposed when they are full size, i can gaurantee that. And the problem is that the best "empty bowl" i had was vertical. I know, it pi**** me off, but i couldnt change it. Haha.

Here's an all black border. Thoughts?

It would have more punch if you showed the fatness of the cat as he continued to eat...

I like the all black border better! For the picture sizes, that bothers me too. Could you make the middle one smaller so as the bowl of food diminishes, the pictures decrease in size too? Just a concept that may help you out with the only vertical shot of the empty bowl.

She, and i tried that composition but it just looked bad. I could not succeed :grumpy:

I think the border should be the same thickness all the way around. The sections between the pictures are about twice as thick as everything else.

The black border does look better than black/grey though.

Thanks for the input.

Again, this is my first attempt at this setup, and im glad all of you are adding your input!

i never put borders on anything in the past so i can't visualize but i think that would make it even better and as for know ....the black border is much better

Now that i look at it, i do think the black is better as well. Thank you for the suggestion.

I was thinking more about my idea in my post above to decrease the picture sizes to work with the vertical shot of the empty bowl and I was wondering if you had to keep the format a certain size?

Shoot another one with the cat flat out with its belly up on the sofa (in landscape orientation).... satisfied. Use the current 'empty bowl' as the middle image. You would even out the frame sizes then and it would look intentional.
