These are rough edits of a couple of shots of a captive bald eagle I took yesterday. The first one is a nice classic majestic eagle pose, but the second one shows some action which I like. I was surprised how nice the bird itself came out since I was shooting through the netting of its habitat. Unfortunately you can also see the netting in the background. I've tried blurring the netting out in Photoshop but it just makes the whole image unnatural and unbelievable.

I'm curious which one people like and why. What do you like/not like?

That is a tough call, but I am going to have to say #1. The lighting is so much better, I feel like #2 is lacking to much detail do to the shadow on the head. :)
They are both good shots though!

I say, keep looking for wild specimens. They are relatively common these days.

I guess I will take #2 simple cause the net is less visible.
