I like all three but I would crop 2 down the middle and keep only the two ladies on the right.
3. I wish the doge were more in focus.

The second shot is killer. And whatever you do, do not crop out anyone in that shot. The only thing I would change is maybe cropping a bit off the top. Great shot.

I went on your site. Nice work. I really, really loved that shot in the "Colorless Life" section of the flare or sun exploding around the heads of the kids. Awesome stuff.

Mike - thank you for your critique! I kind of like the 2nd one cropped that way, with all the persons in the frame. I was walking on that sidewalk, and as soon as i tried to take a photo, the girl in the middle just tried to cover her face with the lollypop and the others, trying to pass me, just fited in the frame. each one with an expression of the feeling of me taking that picture

3rd is in focus, but i don't know why, it doesn't look that sharp :|

Rick - it is a little bit too much frame on the top, with i could have had time to frame better, but you know how it is with the street characters- you can't get the right moent and have time to perfectly frame

I think i know what pictures you are talking about.
The sunset was amazing - very red, very intense and it was coming between two blocks, lighting that place perfectly!

And i had a D90 with a 55-200 - perfect for the zoom i needed that day .

Rick, your blog is also very cool... Wish i was in a plece where i can do more street photography, but nothing happens in this town, it is boring, no architecture, no events and everything's flat...

Well, you certainly make out just fine where you live. I now live in a very rural area and about 3-4 times a month I catch a train into the Dallas - Ft. Worth area to do some street shooting. It is a metropolitan area of about 5-6 million people.

I love that expression on the girl's face in that first shot.
