Number 2 for the win. What are the odds that you're going to find all those diagonals right by a collection of squares, including the shadows almost aligned with the sign? To top it off, the sign is weathered to perfection.

Thanks Federico. Yes, one of those moments when everything was aligned. I remember walking down an alley and stopping in front of this awestruck. I did very little processing, just darkening the shadows a bit in curves and correcting perspective a little.

Both are excellent.... the shrub in the first image makes it a great story....
