The second gator shot reminds me of a canoe trip I took in the Okefenokee Swamp back when I was still in high school. I was in the canoe with our hiking club sponsor, an ultra cool guy we called Coach (original, right?). Coach kept steering us closer and closer to this gator, peering up out of the water just like that, so he could get a picture...with his dinky little 70s camera! Problem was, I was in the front of the canoe, so I was closer to the gator than he was (which may be why he wasn't worried...about himself!). All of a sudden, that gator rose up and SNORTED, loud. Lucky for me, I had a change of pants back in the car. :lmao:
