A couple pics for critique again...

This is Callie, one of the barn cats. She is one of those cats that refuses to sit still, even when she's begging for attention and is in your lap. >.<

This is Spike, the ranch hand's dog. Spike is about 16 years old, about as deaf as a doorknob; and cranky when it comes to my puppy. The pic is a little darker than I would like...I'll have to edit and repost when I do.

This is Eagle Air Med's plane, based in Colorado. I was trying to get the engine with the mountains in the background.

Kind of a macabre shot; but it's a bird that the barn cat was playing with. Sorry about the hose in the picture...definitely not the best angle, but it gets the idea across.

i like the first one. the second ones nice too, but try cropping the front of the car out of the picture, its a bit distracting. colors are nice.

the last one is just...... ughh. dead birds =|

C&C per req:

1. Nice angle and composition, but in desperate need of fill light.

2. Same exposure issues as above; remember when you're shooting with a backlit subject, you almost always need fill light. Watch for things like the truck grill in the shot.

3. Not a fan of the composition here; you've some mountain and some aeroplane but not enough of either for a strong shot IMO.

4. It's a dead bird...

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

I'll try to remember to use a fill light for my shots....I couldn't get high enough up to get that GREAT shot of the plane/mountains. Hopefully next time, I can find a ladder or something to climb up on.

What do you charge for mileage? ^.^

At today's gas prices? Even I can't afford to pay for me to go anywhere.

tell me about it. I have a car that's gentle on gas, and it's still too expensive. >.<
