Hi guys, these are photos from a recent parade here in Malaysia showcasing local culture, with the theme: Myths and Folklore.

2 - Huminodun's sacrifice - Part 1:
The Sabah troupe retells the story behind the Ka'amatan harvest festival, with Huminodun, the daughter of the deity Kinoingin. Pictured is a supporting dancer

3. Huminodun's sacrifice - Part 2
As the crops fail and the Kadazandusun people die from starvation, Huminodun seeks her mother's blessings to sacrifice herself to the earth spirit, and end the famine.

4. Huminodun's sacrifice - Part 3
Huminodun bids farewell as she falls back into the earth to sacrifice herself for the Kadazandusun.
