A day at the Japanese Gardens/Water Reclamation Plant

I visited some local Japanese gardens the other day. What I didn't know is that there's a water reclamation plant right behind it. It's like "Just look at the pretty gardens while we filter your poo water in the back." lol

But really it's kind of neat. A two-in-one cultural and hydrological experience, 10/10, would recommend.


Okay, if anyone has ever seen those virusey online ads where it's a woman's breast with what looks like a gross rash, chances are it was a stock photo of a boob with the seed pod of a lotus plant Photoshopped onto it (pictured below). The pod itself is still pretty gross, though.


Unfortunately there weren't many bigass goldfish in their ponds - the ones they did have were smart and waited near the entrance for food - but there were some little ones swimming about.




And now the reclamation plant: the view from the garden.


This is as close as I could get.


It's also great for people watching lol.
