I really like #2. You have done what my overall photographic objective is these days by taking a common everyday thing and photographing it in a artistic way. I would pop the color a bit and just overall enhance it. You might be able to turn it into something really special.

I love number 2. I agree when it's time to get out and shoot it's time no matter what the weather. I actually did my first photo shoot in the freezing cold.
