A Delicate Balance

Did not see Chad had posted a similar thread but this isn't any different than two people posting Osprey shots simultaneously...I guess. This is much more traditional in composition. There is a balance between man and nature, in dark and light and in vertical and horizontal planes.

I like it, but I'm not sure I agree with a square crop here.
The composition feels cut off on the vertical.

I like it too, but I am thinking it is going to take a reshoot, later in the day, off a tripod and do a long exposure to get more detail in the sand and better definition in the shadows. C'est la vie, eh?
