Thanks, #3 is more what I was going for. A little tough because I kept the aperture small as to keep the tree from being exposed with the long shutter, but also get some bokeh balls to do some trickery with. Really hard to control focus, zoom, and the shutter in one fluid motion, AND to get the result you were actually after.
