Just wanted to show the compact camera photo quality on web. I think it rivals the dslr. At ISO 400, I'm impressed.
I took it handheld without flash as well, so the f2.8, 1/30s, ISO 400 setting really did well in my books.
Yet, it's an old (8 yrs model) MINOLTA, not KONICA MINOLTA/SONY, it's MINOLTA.....
DSLR's aren't always bought for incredible quality. They are bought so that you can have adjustability in the photos you take, such as changing out lenses(mainly) and changing exposure settings.
Any camera will appear to have the same quality on such a small image, but it's when you scale it up that it really makes a difference.
