Lovely, especially the last one.

Thanks everyone. Shooting film is definitely interesting and expensive. LOL

I know this bright and airy style is popular and some of her are lovely, but it seems a waste of some perfectly good Portra. I mean, to me these look grainy and don't have the color Portra film is known for. If you're going to shoot this open, which I think works better for the more close up shots of her where there's little background in the frame, I don't see that using this film to advantage.

Can you post some examples of Portra 400 and which lab scanned it on which scanner? Each lab has their own unique process and these were done by The Find.

Why would shooting close up better at wide open with film vs shooting wider framing with film? What's the advantage of shooting that close, that wide open, with film?

not enough DOF for me...(but you already knew that) :abnormal:
honestly, the bokeh is not very appealing in these.
its especially noticeable in 3 and 4.
#2 is the winner here, an all around well executed shot!

Totally agree with the bokeh but it's an old 20 year old lens so I can't complain :D

the last time i shot film that wasnt a rolleiflex TLR, was my Pentax 110 super.
I can totally relate.
surprisingly though, that rollei TLR actually took really nice pictures.

#2 is still the best shot of the bunch.
