I've always wanted to do some low light photo but I never had a tripod so today I picked up a gorillapod (a mini tripod with bendable joints that can cling to trees and reilings and pretty much anything, very useful!). Here are some pics I took with it. The closeups were handheld but I liked them so I thought I'd include them too.

Interesting stuff! I too like to photograph what I would call weathered remnants like #4, things that end up looking like collage or sculpture by pure random decay. I might darken the lower right corner to even it out a little.

Hey thanks! You're right about the part on the lower right being a little overpowering. I knew something was off just couldn't put my finger on it.

dude, i love them all. the flower is pretty random. lol the 2nd pic, im not sure what im looking at. I have been looking for a wall with graffiti on it in VB. no such luck.
