A few Roses

On my last outing I came across a small but nice Rose garden. When the lite rain let up I was able to get a litte time in before the mist started again.

Joel, I like the first one - nice colour and bokeh. The second one - it is hard for me to tell that it is a rose, not sure why, just is. As well, on the second one that OOF flower in the background is very distracting. My 0.02¢ FWIW.

WesternGuy, thanks for your comments. The 2nd Rose doesn't look like a traditional Rose for sure, but they have that species growing in several of their beds. I've always had trouble photographing Roses because it's so hard to isolate just one nice Rose or tight grouping. There always seems to be another Rose, or part of one, plus all those leaves no matter how hard I try.
