I've been posting several photos my wife took while in Africa earlier this year. I had some free time and drove down to the lake to shoot some photos. There was a lot of activity there today.

The last 3 photos are of a great blue Heron. The bird with the half fish is an Osprey.

Wonderful series of shots! Yes, noticed the half eaten fish. Fish heads, fish heads, rolly polly fish heads...

I think I prefer watching ospreys to eagles, but only for the anticipation of getting to see that ever-tightening spiral dive they do when fishing. It’s amazing they don’t injure themselves. Nice pics!
