A peculiarly Cambodian type of tuk-tuk where there is an actual trailer. Very handy if something gets a flat - as mine did.
Some few shots from the temple complex at Angkor
The sun seems always very bright and the inside hot and airless but colorful
A Buddhist nun watches over some of the areas where offerings are made. I couldn't bring myself to actually light incense sticks but I put some funds in the box and she smiled and we almost held hands.
this area was made famous in the Lara Croft movie which was partially filmed here - an interesting proposition to get equipment, generators and cables to this spot.
The trailer on my moto had a flat and the driver went off to get another tire. When the locals saw me as a person in distress rather than a potential customer for tourist knickknacks, they pulled me into the shade, brought me a chair and a cold drink.
This little girl came to look at the large, pink person with a mustache.
It is totally impossible to visit places like this and not come away with an indelible mark on one's heart.
