I like them, but I think the first would be better with a bit more of the image in the photo. The top of the mans head and the bottom of the dog are both cut off.

The first shot is almost there. Subject fills the frame but the clipped head and feet ruin it.

The second shot is cut in half by the horizon line/waters edge...almost looks like two different pictures.
