EOS R7 Download from Camera

[Niagararoy13 6]

Hello gang,

So just got a new Canon EOS R7 for my retirement. But noticing an issue with direct USB connection to my mac book ( Tahoe) that the software V3 does not see camera. I am checking on the cable ( USB C to USB C) that may be causing the issue. Has anyone else had this issue? Couple sites mention using a card reader, which I have but my other 3 rigs are using canon download software without issue.

Thanks and hope everyone gets some great Labor day shots to post.

Try Image Capture...if the camera does not show up there it is probably the cable.
