I made that in Gimp 2. That is also what I use to apply it.

Thanks, knowing where and when to bounce a flash is key.

Yeah, for these the speedlight was mounted on the hotshoe the entire day. I could have done some more creative stuff using off camera flash but I was more concerned about enjoying the day.

Bounce flash is somewhat easier when it is off camera- you have more options available to you.
