I really like the water fall although I find the building in the left hand corner distracting.

First impression...looks more like a waterfall than a fountain, so I am not sure what I am looking at. Demers18 is right, the building in the upper left is distracting, however, I do not really think that his crop improves it. Maybe if you told us a bit about this fountain and maybe there is another angle that would show it off in a different way. My 0.02¢ FWIW.

It's the water effect in front of the Bank of America headquarters.

I am thinking of re-shooting this one, I believe it does have some potential. The camera was resting on the ledge surrounding it. Perhaps lower, down close to the water (tripod mounted). That way there is more water...thing and less background
