A good combo

Some five or six years ago my daughter surprised me on Christmas with a new Nikon D3500 having resolution better than I ever had. At 24.2 MP resolving capacity therefor detail beyond my eyes......however......I am a fan of the night skies and in particular, the Moon. Although best viewing needs a formal telescope, I've gotten very decent with my Sigma APO 100-300mm 1:4 D with a 1.4 tele-booster. I also add a 25% desktop boost as I call it. Besides night sky work, it's proved itself during daylight too. Below is a Formula 1 racing in Montreal, Canada. So that particular lens is a good one for me.

At what race did you take the F1 photo? That's not a current generation F1 car...looks like V8 maybe v10 era.

If I remember correctly that was back in 2011. Monreal was a fabulous city to visit.
