a good deal?

I bought a unopen photoshop CS3 from a guy in Denver off of craigs list. I had him ship it to me. The strange part is is was shiped from China!! Well it arrived today and its in english. On the front cover it says Adobe Photoshop CS3 then under it it says Create powerful images with the professional standard. Ive looked at ebay and found a few that looks like it. It seems to me to be the right one but is it the full version?

why not install it and see. If you were scammed yuo are not going to get your money back anyway.

I just did and it seems to work. I paid 100.00 for it.

Fantastic! although that version is clearly bootleg, stolen, or something questionable because CS3 cost way more than that and considering it came from China something does not add up.Bbut if it works thats all that matters, there are no different versions of CS3. Make sure though that it is not working under the 30 day trial period. If it is, in thirty days when you go to open it it will not work and you will have to register it, considering its a questionable version I doubt it will be able to be registered.

Did it come with a license key and did you register it? If you did register it with no problems, you are good to go.

China probably has pirated more software than any other country in the world, even their government runs on pirated software. As long as it installed and ran I guess your alright, My question would be, I it came with a registration code, and the code was stolen and already used, what will happens when you try to use the same code? Do they just tell you that the code is invalid, or to they track you down and send the feds after you?
