and i agree santino. that was just my first day with the camera and i was out with friends, so i just left it on automatic as i didn't feel like fiddling and i wasn't doing much more than simply pointing and shooting. had no intentions of taking anything that great at all. but i like those 2 anyways.

I'm smitten with the second one. It doesn't need to be B&W, since it's so naturally desaturated in color by the gloomy day. I love that offset lone figure and the misty ships - what a great composition. :thumbsup:

The first shot gets my vote. That woman's coat adds an amazing splash of color to an interestingly gloomy scene.

Critically I say a tad more separation of tones.

I was living in Vancouver for nearly 10 years before moving back to HK. I love my license plate, 8) , so I keep it along with me.
