A hot summer day and afternoon stroll

It's scorching hot in the summers where I live, but I still wanted to get out. It keeps the sad away. Here are some pictures I took on my afternoon stroll:

I really like the mural paintings that decorate the streets and the mosques' architecture in this emirate. I'm merely an expat living in this country, but Sharjah is by far the best place to live in the UAE in my humble opinion. It has so much more character and culture, unlike the glitz and glamor of Dubai.

What a beautiful area! Great architecture, and I love seeing the tile mosaics. It also looks really, really hot!
