a little fog creeping in...

haven't shot my car in a while, so i got one this morning... the foggy days are just around the corner...

Nice shot and car. I like the overall composition of the shot but I think I would like it better if you were able to get the reflections of the trees off of the windshield. Maybe moving yourself or the car into a different position you could have achieved this. Although it may be possible to clone out. I like the lighting on the front bumper and hood of the car as well. Also I think having a bit more light fall on right side of the car would have been better because it kind of blends into the background. I would also consider shooting without the lights on. Its a bit too much white in a shades of grey and black photo. I think if you had done it in high key the lights wouldn't be distracting. although I prefer the low key style you have chosen for this image.

yeah its a little dark on the driver side. and t thought there would be more fog -so the effect of the headlight beams is what i was after. i will re-shoot, and see what i can do with the reflections

The positioning of the car is very nice though. It gives a good sense of power.

I liked your original shot ....edit the reflections and it will be real nice....I don't need to see detail on the drivers side.

I like the original better. What I would like to see is the dynamic tones and 3 dimensional detail that you have captured in the hood to continue throughout the side of the car. Unfortunately I don't think that is possible to do in pp. Maybe with a giant softbox or two and strobe it would be possible to achieve. But I am no expert at studio lighting.

Don't get me wrong I really like the shot. I just like what you have done with the front of the car and would like to see it continued throughout.
