Little Girl: Mommy, can I go sit on that pretty log?

Gator: Oh yes, Mommy, puleeeeease let her sit on the pretty log.

Two encounters yesterday with stupid tourists (we unaffectionately refer to them as Tourons) who chose to ignore the "These are not tame alligators," signs and came damn close to becoming lunch - the little girl, a snack as this bad boy is about 12 foot (3 meters) long.

You can see him in B&W better because I altered the color balance...here he is in color moving toward the stupid woman and her kid she was going to "pose" with the alligator. Fortunately, the rangers got there in time to stop a tragedy (she told me to eff off when I tried to talk sense into her). Likely, I would have shot the ensuing mess , being the a**h**e I am - hey, I was a news photographer years ago; I never made the news, I just recorded what was there.
