A lonely tree

I definitely prefer the color version, although perhaps with some careful work you could make the tree pop out a bit more in the B&W photo.

However, the photo mainly leaves me with... no particular feeling at all. There's nothing I can say about it technically (seems quite fine), but it doesn't evoke much of a feeling in me. The tree doesn't actually seem all that lonely, because of the pretty hills and grass around it.
