A query about Canon EF to Fujifilm X mount adapters

Hi,

I recently purchased Fujifilm X-T200 (in India), as I wanted to move on from my rather old Canon 350D. I have 5 existing EF/EF-S lenses, including 50 mm f1.8, 10-18 mm and the Tamron 90 mm Macro.

Need your advice regarding the following:

1) I would like to re-use these lenses on the new camera, if possible, using affordable mount adapters (e.g. Viltrox EF-FX1 or FX2). I understand that there might be issues with these adapters such as no or bad or slow AF, aperture. Is it advisable to go for such adapters?

2) If not the above, if I were to purchase a cheaper "dumb" adapter (no electronic contacts, like Fotasy EF-FX or Fotodiox EOS-FX), will I still be able to do MF with focus peaking with it? From my limited knowledge, the MF operation does change the image on the sensor, and therefore, focus peaking should be calculated on that image. Is my understanding right?
