I am a USMC Veteran and my oldest son is serving his 21st year in the same branch. I would have a lifer as well but it didn't work out medically. I am so proud of him and his dedication. I am also so relieved he has come out of it unscathed after many tours in hostile environments. He has 3 years left in his re-up and I think he will re-up one more time if they let him. He is a valued leader, excellent soldier, and loves his country. He never complains, always encourages, and is a wonderful father and husband as well.
