This is the sort of thing, like a photograph of the moon, that's incredibly tempting to make and very hard to make interesting.
I like your treatment here, it's a bit radical and moody. It captures some feeling of foreboding, coming storm, that sort of thing. The trouble this angle always has, and this one is no exception, is "why THESE trees?" I get no sense of formal composition here, no sense that this place is a better or more special or more important place to look up than any other.
