I didn't do any smoothing in this image, it was shot with a 70-200... that will do some smoothing!

I really like the lighting, head position and crop. The one thing that I do not care for is the darkness of the iris. Perhaps you could lighten just the iris to give some dimension/definition to the eyes.

What modifier(s) did you use?
