Abandoned Resort Pano

This resort villa project stopped in 2009. Only one unit was finished out as a model. The backstory is that a wealthy developer was arrested or killed. I don't know if that is true. And another story is that these will be torn down for a Mayan theme park.

Sad use of beautiful real estate, but nice shots.

Very nice panorama, like the colors in the sea contrasting with the buildings, but looks like another nice area ruined by greed.

Yes sad it is, but still nice images.

Yes very sad to see the ruins and hopefully the theme park will not be built. Maybe a designated turtle refuge? This is what it looks like south of the abandoned villas.
