I think it's great.

The perspective & DOF are very nice. It might be stronger if the whole shoe were in the frame...(toe is cut off)...but I think it's great the way it is.

I like it too. Composition is great and the colors on the shoe are excellent. Only thing that bother me is the lack of contrast in the black and white part of the photo.

actually in my opinion the soft focus of the boy is a plus, lending dominance to the colored image in the foreground. very nice contrast between the bright colored subject and b+w background. looks like a money maker to me.
