Adobe Cuts Perpetual License for Elements Down to Just Three Years

Check your current OS version and processor against Elements 2024--the last perpetual license version.

I just checked. Yes. The three years applies to both applications.

So after three years, you have to replace it. So it really is a subscription model only one charge every three years instead of a monthly charge.

As good as Adobe products are, I'm getting tired of the licensing model. I'm slowly cutting out software that needs renewed over and over again. Unfortunately, not enough people are doing that, so that horrid model is going to stick around.
