Adobe Elements Help

Ok, I'm not stupid with computers but I haven't mastered ANYTHING in Elements. I have some cute and decent pics of my little one but the background sucks. I wanted to remove the background and just put a white background behind her (she's posing with her Halloween costume). Can this be done and better yet can it be done by me?:blushing:

Removing the background always looks bad....maybe try selecting the background and then using a blur to make it less pronounced and maybe desaturate it a bit.

though most guides refer to photoshop full, elements has nearly all the basic features needed to do most editing. One thing it does lack is a layer mask - so have a free one

I consider that to be one of the most usefull addons you can get!
I am sure that what you ask can be done, but I will let someone better than me explain (simpley as I have had little luck in pulling off what you are trying myself)

I can edit the photo for you i have the master suite of Adobe. haha i love CS3 its amazing. Elements is a edit your picture quick set go type of program. Its not really based for web graphic just pictures.
