Advice Needed: Best Rechargeable batteries for FLASH

Hey Guys,

I am going through batteries 10$ of batteries a night. Need to save money wherever I can. Not to mention all the wight and fear of throwing away good batteries when you mix them up.

I like something small. a 5 changer be perfect.

I have a charger of an unknown brand. pretty crappy. Charges only ni-MH types......


I want to know what is the best type of rechargeable AA batteries? Company + charger. Love all your advice.

i use energizer 2500 mah batteries with a 15 min charger...im thinkin about switchin to energizer's lithium AA batteries...they are much lighter and last alot longer

Sanyo Eneloops are another low discharge battery.

I use NiMH rechargeables, 2800 mah. I can usually shoot a full days wedding with two sets. The only problem is that they run down while not in use, so they all need to be freshly charged before an event. This is where batteries like the Eneloops are good, they hold their charge while not in use.

Rechargeable batteries are a good idea, especially because it keeps disposable batteries out of the landfill.
