I sell women's clothing online & would like to make the pictures clearer & more defined. I work in low light conditions some days with most of the light being artificial with some daylight. The black clothing items usually end up with a slight grainy look & the pictures don't 'pop'.
I' am currently using 5 23W daylight bulbs (which seem to cast blue light) & 4 regular light bulbs on an overhead ceiling fan (lol...I know it's a makeshift setup). The camera I use is an older Sony Cybershot DSC W-55 & I also have Photoshop Elements 8.
I need advice on: do I need a new camera, & what kind? maybe a beginners DSLR? & would it really make a difference (bear in mind I cannot spend hours editing the pictures
) ?
or should I invest in just lighting? or even both? My budget is around $700.00. What would be a good set up for me?
I have attached some photo's to show what I mean....Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated!
