Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I am using the S24 ultra camera to take jewelry photos to list on various online websites. The problem that I need help with is the AI on the cell phone changes the dynamics of the taken photo.

My settings are camera, photo, 1:1 or 3:4, and 200 mp. Then I use a tripod to steady the shot and increase the magnification to anything over 5.4x-10x. Then I add light which consists of 5 LEDs at 6,000 K, with diffused film over them. The shot is then taken by voice command after I touch the screen to accentuate the focal point.

The problem is the AI darkens the photo and seems to overcompensate for the shot. My workaround has been to turn on the flash. At this point for some reason using the flash forces the AI to not auto-fix the photo.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated with those who are shooting in the same manner, jewelry, or product photography using this type of cell phone. Thanks for your thoughts.

Can't you switch from auto exposure to manual mode and manually select the exposure so it doesn't change from shot to shot?

From what I understand, the only way to go manual is to go "pro" or download the app called "expert photo". I've had bad luck with both. Best shots I've gotten, are: 200 megapixel, anything plus 5.4 magnification, Flash, and ratios 1:1 or 3:4. Thanks

I have the S23+ and confirm manual is the pro modes. It works but can be cumbersome. Also using zoom anything over 3x is not optical zoom but a digital AI interpretation. In other words loss of quality.

These phones take very good photos for a phone but personally I wouldn’t use one for commercial work or where high quality is required. Just my 2 cents.
