I have often seen smaller birds driving crows from their nest sights. But hearing the clamor, I saw these two crows dive bombing a hawk that had ventured too near.

Definitely a lucky shot.

Definitely lucky. The aerial acrobatics will certainly test your abilities at BIF.

For those just getting into wildlife photography, pay attention to the crows. If you hear a murder of crows going crazy, there's usually a reason. Take advantage of it. I've gotten some great shots by doing this.

Quite a common site here too, particularly with crows v our buzzards (buteo buteo). Alway good to see and capture.
