AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm F1.8G vs. Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM

Trying to compare these two lenses... Other than the differences in focal lenth and apeture, which lens is better?

My camera is really old (D40) and I am not sure when I will upgrade. I don't have any plans to upgrade for now.

My dslr is the old d40 and have the older model sigma 1.4. I love this lens. Mine is sharp focus, amazing in low light. It's my favorite lens. Not sure about the newer model. I personally have had good luck with Sigma.

thanks pops330, i have had good luck with sigma also. I have the 18-200mm lens. its worked well. looking for a prime now. curiously, the sigma is more expensive than the nikkor?
