Just got my tulips in the soil the other week, gonna leave this lot in the ground as I've tried to store them properly and it hasn't been working out for some bloody reason.

Only two of our tulips came up this year, so you’ve seen half of them. They are tricky those tulips. We had couple of dwarf tulips come up earlier. My wife is thinking of ripping out the whole garden and starting over.

Bugger hey, there a pain in the arse. Did they not have enough cold days in the soil?

Wasn't sure our climate would allow me to keep'em in the soil as they need so many cold days to do there thing. Dug them up washed and de-fungicided them and stored them in a paper bag in the pantry.

Put them in the old beer fridge for 2 months before replanting'em. Most turned to dust, seems the old beer fridge runs to cold and dried them out.

This season they turned to dust in the pantry, i don't know why.
